How to Measure Your

Bangle Size
INNER DIAMETER outer rim
The Golden Rule

Indian & Pakistani bangle sizes (2.4, 2.6, 2.8...) refer to the inner diameter — the hole through which your hand passes.

Place a bangle that fits you well on a flat surface. Measure across the inner hole — that's your size.

Two Ways to Measure
1
From an existing bangle

Place a bangle that fits well on a flat surface. With a ruler, measure across the inner hole, edge to edge. Match to the chart above. This is the most accurate method.

2
From your hand

Tuck your thumb into your palm (as if slipping on a bangle). Wrap a measuring tape around the widest part of your knuckles. Divide that number by 3.14 — that's your diameter.
